Over the past few years, renovations have taken place to the Simonds High School theatre. One way of supporting these improvements has been a “seat sale”.

Many seats have been sold, but some are still available.

As the finishing touches on the renovations are completed, a Theatre Gala weekend is planned in October to celebrate. The two main events that will take place during this celebration are a gala evening and an alumni dance. The theatre gala evening will take place at 8 PM on Friday, October 17th and will showcase a variety of musical and dramatic talent from the past 30 years. It will be followed by a reception. Then, on Saturday, October 18th at 8 PM there will be an alumni dance in the Simonds High School gym. Tickets for each event are $10 apiece and may be purchased at BATA / Athlete’s World (Brunswick Square), Foot Locker (McAllister Place), Willow Grove Convenience Store, Bishop’s Windows and Doors (Rothesay) or the Simonds High School office (658-5367). Theatre seats may be purchased through the school or at the gala or dance. What a great way to recognize your own high school days or to remember a loved one.
